ESPID Education Certificate Application

The Committee for Education have created the new ESPID Education Certificate with the aim of acknowledging the participation in different ESPID Education activities.

To obtain the ESPID Education Certificate you must have completed the following activities:

  • Online Courses (All three*): Wiser Immuniser, Antibiotic Management and Congenital & Perinatal Infections
  • Participate from 2020 onwards in at least one ESPID annual meeting (face-to-face or virtual)* OR one ESPID supported course* OR one Walter Marget Workshop* (not a prerequisite for LMIC)
  • Case Rounds* (from 2022 onwards): actively follow at least 10 cases OR present one case
  • Journal Club* (from 2022 onwards): complete at least 12 journal clubs OR present one journal club

*Certificate will be issued automatically after participation
Case rounds certificates are available during the week the case round is live
Journal club certificates are available for 2 months after publication

As well as proving the participation in ESPID Education activities, the ESPID Education Certificate will count towards successful application for the ESPID Clinical Training Fellowship Award.

You must be a "good standing" ESPID member (click here to download the ESPID "good standing" member criteria) and have membership fees paid up in full before you apply.

If you do not have all evidence available to hand, you can come back to complete the application at a later date, simply visit the application page again and you will be redirected to your existing application for completion - all previously uploaded documents will remain.
