Research in the field of Paediatric Infectious Diseases (PID) is a major objective of ESPID. The remit of the Committee for Research (CfR) is to support research activities within ESPID – specifically, collaboration and high-quality research by ESPID members. This includes promotion of research, training of young researchers, support for networking activities and funding to facilitate research meetings. The ESPID Research Masterclass is one of the key elements of each ESPID Annual meeting and managed & run by the CfR.
