ESPID and WSPID Joint Mentorship Programme: Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new and exciting mentorship programme founded by ESPID and WSPID. This programme aims to match established faculty in Paediatric Infectious Diseases with junior colleagues to provide mentorship and guidance for career development.
This call aims to recruit mentees.
This programme aims to match established faculty in Paediatric Infectious Diseases with
junior colleagues to provide mentorship and guidance for career development. The mentorship will last for a
total of 12 months and
includes 3 (virtual) 1-hour meetings over this period. The purpose of this programme is to provide mentorship for a junior colleague to
achieve a specific goal, e.g., ESPID/WSPID abstract application, small grant application, career mentoring, etc.). At the end of the programme, we will ask you to complete a short evaluation form.

WSPID Call to Action for Ensuring Fair Prices for All Vaccines for All Countries with Limited Resources
WSPID Call to Action, calls on governments and international organizations around the world to address vaccine prices as a matter of urgency to protect the lives of present and future generations through global, equitable access to affordable vaccines.
Vaccine price should not be a barrier to vaccine introduction and the sustainability of immunization programs. We are calling for the urgent need to ensure fair pricing for all vaccines to ensure they will be "global public goods."
