WSPID Call to Action for Ensuring Fair Prices for All Vaccines for All Countries with Limited Resources
WSPID Call to Action, calls on governments and international organizations around the world to address vaccine prices as a matter of urgency to protect the lives of present and future generations through global, equitable access to affordable vaccines.
Vaccine price should not be a barrier to vaccine introduction and the sustainability of immunization programs. We are calling for the urgent need to ensure fair pricing for all vaccines to ensure they will be "global public goods."

ESPID and WSPID Joint Mentorship Programme "Call for mentors"
ESPID and WSPID Joint Mentorship Programme: Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders in Pediatric Infectious Diseases
This new initiative is designed to connect experienced faculty with early-career colleagues from around the world, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and leadership development in Paediatric Infectious Diseases.
What’s involved?
- Duration: 12 months
- Format: 3 (virtual) one-hour mentor–mentee meetings
- Focus: Supporting mentees in achieving specific goals, such as:
- ESPID/WSPID abstract submissions
- Small grant applications
- Career mentoring and planning
By the end of the program, participants will be asked to complete a short evaluation to help us strengthen and refine this opportunity for future cohorts.

This mentorship program offers early-career colleagues the chance to receive tailored guidance, expand their networks, and take concrete steps toward advancing their careers — while senior faculty have the opportunity to give back, share their expertise, and help shape the next generation of leaders.
